Description
A very nice book by Veronika Kubáčová introduces children to events related to people and stones.
The stories made up of pebbles are narrated by an ordinary little pebble named Žulvásek, whose mother is Skála and father is Balvan. Long ago, they collided, and he broke off, thus he was born. It was in the Tertiary period, a time when age was not counted in years but in mountains. If anyone thinks that a stone can only be silent, Žulvásek will easily prove them wrong. Sometimes he talks so much that he doesn't know when to stop. Over the long years he has rolled through the world, he has met many interesting people and stones and witnessed how their fates incredibly intertwine.
