The presented publication addresses the issue of care for the elderly from the perspective of the hidden curriculum. The topic is highly relevant in light of demographic and social changes that create the need for new approaches in elderly care. In addition to developing a comprehensive theoretical and conceptual analysis, the author conducted a unique qualitative research study at the Senior Center Phoenix in the Federal Republic of Germany.
