Not just anyone would have fish soup for lunch; you have to be in the mood for it. Are you in the mood for fish soup? I can recommend it. We have a collection of short stories and poems before us, titled after that soup. This collection of stories and poems is somewhat of the author's personal chronicle of a year in a time of an unprecedented and completely unexpected phenomenon. Until 2020, we only knew about pandemics from the media, historical sources, and fantasy novels. Words like COVID-19 or lockdown were unknown to our population until March of that year.
