Tajemství kouzel – Drábková Eva (2020)

A fairy tale story about a little girl named Eliška, who loves to play, is sweet, although sometimes a bit mischievous, just like many other children. Eliška is in the first grade, which brings her new responsibilities. Moreover, she has a little brother, so not everything revolves around her as she was used to before. She would like to learn to cast spells to shape the world to her liking. One evening, she sees a strange talking lizard floating through the air. The lizard promises Eliška that it will teach her magic if she quiets her heart. In a dream, it takes her to mysterious worlds where Eliška faces various adventures. To return and learn magic, she must discover and accomplish many things. Whether Eliška ultimately learns magic, and especially whether she understands what the most important spells are, is also the mystery of this magical book. The book is also illustrated with original illustrations by Jana Halló, which are sewn and scanned. Thus, children receive not only a wonderful story full of adventure and lessons but also a guide and tips on how to try creating their own pictures together with their parents.
