Description
When Eleanor Bennett passes away, she leaves behind two children, Byron and Benny, and a bizarre legacy: a black cake, baked from a family recipe with a long history, and a voice message. Through it, Eleanor shares a tumultuous story about a headstrong young swimmer who fled her native island after facing suspicion of murder. However, the heartrending testimony does not explain everything, and the mystery of a missing child may now challenge everything Byron and Benny thought they knew about their origins. Can the siblings mend long-cold relationships, uncover Eleanor's true past, and fulfill her last wish: to share the black cake when the time is right? Will the revelation of their mother's secret bring them closer together, or will it drive them further apart?
