Description
Lovisa Lindegren lives her dream in London – until she loses both her job and her fiancé in a single week. Completely at rock bottom, she returns to her native Sweden, to the picturesque town of Halleholm, where she inherited her grandparents' former bakery in the square. Having gained experience as a baker in London, she decides to try to reopen the family business. However, her enthusiasm does not last long. In addition to the house, Lovisa also inherited the bitter enmity between two branches of the family, the Lindegrens and the Halleholms. Local magnate Reuben Halleholm has hated her since childhood, and now he is trying to use intrigue to make her fail in business and sell the house to him. Can Lovisa still continue the family tradition? And how will she decide in her hardest choice: can she let someone with the name Halleholm into her heart, or should she remain faithful to the legacy of her beloved grandmother, who was once immensely wronged by the Halleholms?
