When Natalie Harper unexpectedly becomes the owner of a debt-laden San Francisco bookstore due to a tragic event and starts caring for her grandfather, who is struggling with worsening memory issues, she doesn't have to think long about what takes priority. Her plan to sell the bookstore to fund her grandfather's care, however, doesn't go through.
