Description
When Kateřina finds watercolor paintings in the attic of her parents' house, she is fascinated. They depict a picturesque landscape, a deep blue sea, and a nostalgically appealing estate in the middle of a beautiful garden. She longs to discover where this magical place is located and how the paintings came to be in her family's possession. Her search leads Kateřina to Brittany, where she discovers a long-abandoned chateau from her paintings. The estate belongs to Ewan, an attractive Breton who initially views Kateřina's curiosity with skepticism, but eventually, he too succumbs to the charm of the paintings, and they both dive into the search for the chateau's past owners and its history. Gradually, they uncover a dark secret... Just like in the author's previous book, The Hydrangea Garden, a dramatic story full of romance unfolds against the breathtaking backdrop of Brittany.
