Description
August 1945. Ital Stefano is trying to get home through war-torn Germany. Along the way, he takes in a small boy whose mother has died, and Stefano does not want to leave him to an unknown fate. Together, they find refuge in a remote cabin. It belongs to Erich, a former German soldier. Gradually, other people appear at the site – Rosalind, who lives nearby, with her traumatized husband George. They all gradually realize that their meeting will lead to something fatal. And when Stefano finds letters from Monique, the mysterious girl in Rosalind's photographs, he realizes that the war may have ended for states and generals, but not for ordinary people caught in a trap far from any help...
