Description
This is the story of ten-year-old Stela and a major sled-dog race that takes her family from Osmihorky to Alaska. Stela lives in the mountains with her father and her grandfather Baltazar, and although she greatly admires Jack London, she has no idea that she will soon visit the land of the gold rush herself. Her father is a musher, and with his team he decides to conquer the most dangerous racing route in the world. Stela’s account of her family, both human and canine, is intended for children aged seven and up and for all adventurous spirits. The contents are in Czech.
