Description
Matýsek's Mathematics for 5th grade, like in the case of 4th grade, consists of three textbooks and three workbooks. Multimedia interactive textbooks (MIUč+) are also created for each textbook and workbook, including student licenses so that students can practice the material in an entertaining interactive way on their home computers or tablets if they are interested. We will also publish methodological guides for the textbooks. The geometry curriculum is first systematically reviewed and then gradually expanded. The textbook primarily aims to reinforce knowledge from previous grades and develop logical thinking when solving tasks. Students are newly introduced to, for example, the coordinate system. Similar to volumes 1 and 2 of mathematics, more challenging logical tasks are included in Geometry, with explanations of the types of tasks and examples for practice.
