Description
The material covered in the first part of mathematics for the 4th grade is also included in the second part, only in an expanded numerical range of 0 to 1,000,000. This gives students who did not fully grasp the material covered in the first part a new opportunity to learn it and understand it. Even in the second part of mathematics, emphasis is placed on memorizing calculations in the given numerical range. The new material for students will be estimating results and arithmetic mean. Chapters on estimating results are intentionally placed towards the end of the second part because the authors assume that students must first become thoroughly familiar with the numerical range and only then can they make estimates, not the other way around. At the end of the second part, there is a chapter that introduces students in a simple way to concepts such as negative numbers and percentages. NNS4-36
