The new textbooks for the educational field Citizenship Education are designed in accordance with the RVP ZV. At the beginning of each chapter, you will find motivational texts intended to spark students' interest in the relevant topic. In addition to the explanatory text, the textbooks also contain a variety of problem-solving tasks that develop students' cognitive operations. Within group tasks, the books focus on developing mutual cooperation and communication skills. Furthermore, interdisciplinary connections are included in the form of references to corresponding material in other textbooks in the series, cross-cutting themes, group and project tasks, terms in English and German, observation prompts, review and creative tasks, interesting facts, internet work, and excerpts from literature. We are currently preparing the Citizenship Education 8 and 9 textbooks for you. These textbooks are also being developed in an interactive format. At the beginning of each chapter, texts and methods of working with them are proposed, based on the principles of critical thinking. The authors aimed to present the issues in many forms that would cater to different learning styles of students.
