Description
This Czech-language reading primer is intended for the first stage of reading instruction, introducing children to their first letters, syllables and words. It gradually develops the sounds and letters A, M, L, E, S, O, P, U and I. The order of the letters is based on proven experience, with the aim of enabling pupils to start reading as soon as possible. With the help of pictures, they begin reading with the first letter, A. Once they have learned M, they can read picture sentences containing the word MÁ, while also encountering the word MÁMA. Each newly introduced letter is followed by reading syllables containing that letter, and only then by reading words, in this primer limited to two-syllable words with open syllables.
