We are publishing a comprehensive series of natural science textbooks that are designed in accordance with the RVP ZV. Emphasis is placed on the interconnectedness of the curriculum and its practical applicability. Each chapter, in addition to the curriculum, includes illustrative diagrams, graphs, photographs, and images. Furthermore, they include interdisciplinary connections in the form of references to corresponding content in other textbooks from the series, cross-cutting themes, group tasks, terms in English and German, review tasks, interesting facts, internet work, and map work. These textbooks are also presented in an interactive format. The Natural Science 8 textbook aims to familiarize students with how and what the individual organs serve. It is organized according to the various organ systems. The final section is dedicated to genetics. It includes an appendix on the basics of first aid. The textbook is supplemented with a number of photographs and illustrative images of parts of the human body with captions.
