The publication serves to practice and deepen the understanding of the material in the Primer. The individual pages of the workbook correspond in content with the curriculum and the pages in the Primer. For each letter being studied, tasks are prepared to practice reading words with that letter and words with a certain structure, later emphasizing words of more complex structure. The workbook contains a number of tasks and activities, such as fill-in-the-blanks and crosswords, in which the material is incorporated in a playful manner.
