They will then distinguish between direct and inverse proportions. They will discover that some values depend on each other and learn when the phrase 'how many times more, that many times less' applies. They will learn to use the rule of three when solving word problems, become familiar with percentages, and will solve a variety of problems involving them. The textbook focuses on financial literacy topics (e.g., tax rates, interest rates) in many examples. At the end of the textbook, promile is included. The textbook contains a wealth of solved guiding problems as well as exercises for practice. The textbook 'Percentages, Rule of Three' is the 7th topic out of a total of 16 topics in mathematics for the 2nd stage of primary school and corresponding years of multi-year gymnasiums. 1 topic = 1 textbook + 1 workbook + 1 multimedia interactive textbook.
