The textbook First Science 1 is thematically divided into four seasons. In connection with these seasons, students will become familiar with topics such as: school, family, humans and health, days of the week, professions, commerce, means of transport, etc. Furthermore, the textbook focuses on making students notice how nature changes around them with the changing seasons (trees in the forest and park in autumn, animals in spring, the garden in summer). First graders can write and draw in the textbook. At the end of each page, there are descriptions of how to work with the individual tasks to practice the given topic. The textbook emphasizes the broad use of interdisciplinary relationships, offers tasks of varying difficulty for the possibility of individual approach, and provides numerous ideas for playful and activity-based tasks.
