This colourful Czech-language workbook with stickers for first-grade pupils helps them apply the skills and knowledge acquired through the AMOS materials and provides meaningful motivation for further learning in reading, writing, arithmetic and introductory studies. More demanding exercises also engage gifted pupils, while work with pictures, signs, symbols, texts, tables and diagrams lays the foundations of computational thinking. Pupils are guided towards independent written expression by writing words from dictation and recording simple sentences describing events shown in pictures. Stickers support reading comprehension, vocabulary development and spatial orientation. As part of the comprehensive AMOS set, first-grade pupils can learn writing and reading in Čteme a píšeme s Agátou, numbers and arithmetic operations in Matýskova matematika, and about the world around them in Oskarova prvouka. The workbook develops these skills through new types of tasks and, like the other AMOS materials, guides pupils towards independent problem-solving with pictographic instructions.
