I am very much like my mom – except for the glasses – I am short, I have black eyes and crazy curly hair, but my mom is loud, unafraid of anything, and fun to be around. I am much quieter and a lot of things worry me. Jess and Tracy Beaker are the perfect team. Jess thinks Tracy is the best mom in the world (even when she yells at the teacher). Tracy is active, brave, and does everything she can to create the kind of home Jess desperately longed for when she grew up in a children's home.
