Description
War veteran Vladimír Ignatěnko is tired of life. He is 107 years old, his wife has long since passed away, and his great-grandchildren do not acknowledge him. He does not want to spend his days in a healthcare capsule. Instead, he prefers to sign a contract with the developers of the virtual world Alpha Rome and permanently transfer his consciousness to another reality. Under the nickname Volper, he immerses himself in a new life in a younger and stronger body in a world where people fight monsters for entertainment by any means available. But even though the solitary Volper enjoys the return of his military career, fragments of his new home raise an unavoidable question: Why was Alpha Rome really created?
