Description
Lieutenant Keira Jenkins, a veteran duplicant from the legendary Lazarus Legion, has been assigned a team of inexperienced recruits eager to taste the thrill of battle. Much sooner than expected, they get their chance when the terrorist organization Black Spiral takes control of an allied space station, and the team, known as the Dings, becomes part of a rescue operation. However, the Dings are drawn into intelligence games and become the proverbial scapegoats when the entire operation ends disastrously due to withheld information. As punishment, the entire team is sent to the remote space station North Star, located in the Maelstrom, one of the most dangerous places in the universe. Will the inexperienced greenhorns manage to fight an enemy that is always one step ahead, or will this be a one-way mission for the Dings?
