Description
In this Czech-language fantasy novel, virtual reality contains nothing real: fake orcs pretend to fight fake elves, priests bless people nonstop and wizards defeat their enemies with digital illusions of battle spells. Yet every game is part of something much larger. Human nature does not change, and people always find ways to use or hurt others, even at the cost of personal loss or death in real life. John Doe is a necromancer and guardian of the dead, but that is only his in-game character, merely an illusion. In reality, he is playing detective and following a trail, while the interests of his employers extend far beyond the game itself.
