If there were justice, I would have already closed my eyes forever. But something like justice simply does not exist. I survived, but after life in the Clan, I fell into yet another form of slavery. This new involuntary faith is called TechCorp. I am to become a human automaton, obeying the orders of others. Not that I haven't enjoyed it at times. Compassion is a weakness, and the weak die. But I am tired of being a puppet in someone else's game. I want out of this wheel of death. I will fight. Not for glory, honor, or money, but for answers to increasingly absurd questions. However, the most burning question remains whether my rebellion will only spin the wheel of death even bloodier. The answers hidden beneath the crimson Cloak suggest that I have no idea what I am actually up against. One thing I know for sure. I must stay alive. Because what comes after death is far worse than all the torments of life, all the suffering in the world that I know.
