Description
This Czech-language novel follows Victorien, who acquires a campsite in the middle of a forest, right beside a military training ground, after an unexpected life event. The two sisters who own it sell it on the condition that they can continue living there. At the pale blue reception desk, a fascinating array of guests checks in: a soldier with post-traumatic stress disorder, a drug baroness and a celebrity trying to escape publicity. For some, the campsite is a holiday; for others, an unpleasant necessity. The guests are condemned to share the same space even though almost nothing connects them. They can always leave, can’t they?
