Description
The Overlook Hotel is considered the most beautifully situated mountain resort in the world, but its new winter caretaker, Jack Torrance, his wife Wendy and their five-year-old son Danny see more than its beauty. Jack sees the Overlook as an opportunity, a desperate way to escape the misfortune and despair of his life, while Wendy sees the solitude she longs for as perhaps the last chance to preserve their troubled family. Danny, blessed and cursed with a sudden shining, the gift of foresight, sees things beyond the understanding of a small boy. In the empty rooms of the Overlook, a hidden evil lies in wait for him.
