Description
Do you think happiness simply falls into the laps of people who are already happy? Nonsense, grumblers. Did you know that people over forty, as well as elderly and sick people, can experience the greatest sense of contentment? This book, in Czech, explores how to stop chasing happiness somewhere outside yourself and start looking for it within. It also offers practical tricks for outsmarting a bad mood. Constantin Schreiber (born 1979) is a German writer and journalist and a news presenter for Tagesschau. He has worked for ARD-aktuell, presented the Nachtmagazin, and hosted the German-Arabic programme Marhaba – Příjezd do Německa, for which he received the Grimme-Preis in 2016. He studied law before turning to journalism, worked for Deutsche Welle, and served as a foreign correspondent in Dubai. He has also worked in other Middle Eastern countries and Africa, written for foreign media, and presented a popular science programme on Egyptian television. He is the author of Ausverkauf Deutschland and 1000 Peitschenhiebe and speaks Arabic.
