Domov – Strandberg Mats (2019)

A raw tale of love, friendship, and the worst nightmare: losing control over oneself. Joel returns to the small town where he grew up. Circumstances force him to take care of his mother, Monika, whom he decides to place in the Tallskuggan home, designated for patients suffering from senile dementia. Nina, Joel's childhood friend, works at the home. However, they haven't spoken a single word since their painful farewell. After Monika is moved to ward D, her condition dramatically worsens. She suffers increasingly severe seizures. And it seems she knows things she shouldn't have any idea about. As if someone foreign has her in their power. Joel and Nina must come together again to protect Monika and themselves.
