There is Him, with whom she secretly speaks at night. He, who fulfills all her wishes. Sometimes immediately, sometimes after many years, but he fulfills them all. Alice is absolutely sure that it’s just a matter of how many times she has to repeat the wish. Exactly 5,647 times. In childhood, everything works; she gains a friend, a secret love, and eventually even a different grandmother. However, the older Alice gets, the more she realizes that wishes always come true a little differently than they agreed. Until she wonders if He actually means well with her. And if not, how can she live in a world where every wish she makes could turn against her?
