Description
Being a hero is not nearly as glamorous as it's portrayed in comics. The year is 2052, and what little remains of the world after the war is shrouded in the gloom of a nuclear winter. Attiona City, one of the last bastions of human civilization, is being consumed from within by a mysterious epidemic and social strife. While prominent citizens in the upper parts of the city are recovering from the horrors of war, the less fortunate residents of lower Downtown are still living through them. The growing exclusion and skirmishes between rival mafias are merely the first shots in the darkness, heralding a civil war. However, the city is not as defenseless as it may seem at first glance. In its darkest hour, Attiona City chooses a protector: Jason Blake, a young Downtowner who has wished for nothing more than to be a hero his entire life. And now, to his misfortune, his wish is coming true. Soon, however, he realizes that in his crusade to save the city, he has become entangled in power struggles that far exceed his capabilities.
