April and May 1945: German Nazis knew they had already lost the war, but the most fervent among them were still willing to fight. By that time, however, there were relatively extensive military-weakly secured areas in Bavaria, Saxony, and Bohemia that could be occupied without resistance. It was therefore a time for crazy missions of lone jeeps in the 'no man's land', which is also the case for the quirky adventures of the heroes of this book, who raced around in a small vehicle that is a significant symbol of the end of this war. The operational range of the American Jeep Willys on the road was 483 km. The maximum speed of the jeep was 105 km/h. Unfortunately, this speed was not enough for any jeep with a white star on the hood to escape the 'wheel of history' that was unfortunately turning in the completely opposite direction for the Czech nation...
