Description
This Czech-language book covers more than seventy years in the history of all Czech military transport units. It begins with a brief account of Czech airmen serving with RAF Transport Command at the end of the Second World War, including the 311th Squadron’s final mission transporting Czech airmen and repatriates from Great Britain to their homeland. The book then chronologically follows the establishment of the Air Transport Group, the Ruzyně/Kbely Air Transport Regiment, and all subsequent changes to the regiment’s name through renamings and reorganisations of the “1st Transport Regiment”, up to the relocation of the 1st Transport Parachute Regiment Kbely to Moravia in 1959.
