YOUCAT – a prayer book for young people is an original collection of older and newer prayers from various sources – from the Bible, from saints, great teachers of spiritual life, and our contemporaries.
At the beginning, we find encouragement for prayer and 10 points worth respecting in the effort to pray. The first part of the book forms a compact whole of morning and evening prayers, organized into two weeks from Sunday to Saturday. The second part contains prayers for various occasions. Everything is accompanied by photographs, illustrations, explanations, excerpts from Scripture, and quotes from respected figures. The purpose of the book is not the mechanical recitation of foreign prayers, but to assist in finding one's own personal path of prayer and meditation. The path of prayer means a journey of friendship with God and with people.
