Description
In this slim book, we will walk step by step through the Holy Mass as we know it from regular Sundays in our parishes. The goal is to explain the basic elements, to seek ways to participate in the Holy Mass better, to meet Jesus more deeply during it, and to draw strength for our lives outside the church.
Each chapter is accompanied by a short quote from the Bible and a longer quote from the Church Fathers. Their purpose is to suggest that the Holy Mass, although it evolves and changes over the centuries, remains fundamentally the same as an act that is faithful to Jesus' words: 'Do this in remembrance of me.'
The book is intended for all who love liturgy and wish to penetrate its beauty. It will be especially useful for those preparing for confirmation and adult baptism, as well as for those who do not want to stagnate on their journey of faith.
