Description
Have you ever been on the Stations of the Cross? Did you look at the individual images and see how Jesus was condemned? How they loaded the cross onto him, tormented him, mocked him, until he died on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead? And did you notice that there isn't a single child in those images? Could it be that there were none? That's impossible. Many children ran after Jesus. Christ's disciples tried to shoo them away from their Teacher. In vain. The children were close to Christ – perhaps closer than the adults. The adults overlooked them, but they saw everything. Come and follow in Jesus' footsteps with the children who were on the Stations of the Cross with him! A somewhat different Stations of the Cross can be read by children themselves or with their parents. It will also find its use in communities, in religious education classes, and in groups that seek to bring the mystery of Easter closer by recalling Jesus' last journey. In it, children will find a space for personal prayer and for creating their own picture.
