Description
This Czech-language guide presents Neratov, a place of many stories, beautiful nature and rich history, but above all a remarkably lively and vibrant place. Once a sought-after pilgrimage site, Neratov became under Communist totalitarianism an abandoned area with a church destined for demolition. Its gradual renewal began in the 1990s thanks to the priest Josef Suchár, his colleagues and friends. Today, people with disabilities live full lives in Neratov, while visitors arrive in large numbers from all over the Czech Republic and abroad. They come to find calm, healing for old wounds, new inspiration and strength.
