Na motorce kolem světa – Lavický Vojtěch (2021)

A story about a journey around the world, two people, five hundred sunsets, and countless breathtaking views from the saddle of a motorcycle. In April 2016, a year and a half after the idea of traveling the world was born, Mirka and I stand in the center of Brno at the start of our life's journey. Fear and excitement mix within us; there's no turning back now. For nearly the next two years, our faithful machines carry us daily through landscapes towards new experiences. From the deserts of Iran through the towering mountains of Central Asia to the Land of the Rising Sun. Across the ocean to the southernmost city in the world, around salt flats, Incan monuments, and snow-capped peaks of the Andes to the lands of coffee, cocoa, and rum. I will tell you about our initial plans, which ultimately turned out completely differently, how we learned on the road, enjoyed and got frustrated, or how we found ourselves at a crossroads from love, each taking our own path. About how man proposes and life disposes. That anything can happen, and just when you think you've won, something goes wrong. All those unexpected changes are part of traveling and make it so beautiful and addictive. The important thing is not to freak out about it. But that will happen sooner or later anyway, so no stress, toilet paper in your pocket, and boldly into the world!
