Hravá čítanka 6 - učebnice (2025)

The reader is part of a comprehensive concept for teaching the Czech language in the second stage of elementary schools. It offers a wide selection of texts chosen to cover all important areas of the curriculum for the 6th grade. It contains carefully selected literary excerpts designed to engage children and motivate them to read further. If there was a plot preceding the excerpt, it is briefly summarized beforehand. Words and terms that students may not know are explained below the text. It includes explanations of the curriculum and tests. In accordance with the RVP ZV, it includes side columns with information about the author, the work from which the excerpt is taken, and interesting facts. The tasks are divided into three categories – pre-reading tasks to tune students into the theme of the excerpt, tasks related to the text where they work with the text, and extension tasks that lead them to reflect on the broader contexts of the ideas contained in the text. In the Media Education chapter, students will learn basic knowledge about texts from newspapers that they will work with. The publication is graphically modern and attractively designed. It contains chapters: About Literature, Folk Literature, Literary Types and Genres (Epic, Lyric, Lyric-Epic Genres, Drama), Comics, Media Education.
