The second part of the Czech language textbook. The first chapters of the second part of the textbook focus on practicing lowercase letters. The following chapters are already focused on reading texts and completing associated tasks. Emphasis is placed on reading comprehension, and students learn to work with the text. During the end of winter, the beginning of spring, and the onset of summer, students will experience more adventures with Anička and Matěj. They will go on trips together, visit many interesting places, and participate in other celebrations related to the given season. In thematically focused texts, they will learn to recognize spring nature and gradually look forward to summer vacation. Attached are interesting reading sheets. The comprehensive series of textbooks, workbooks with relaxation exercises, and notebooks for teaching reading using the genetic method in the 1st grade is designed to offer teachers complete teaching materials. The genetic reading method starts with capital letters, gradually transitions into lowercase letters, and finally moves on to teaching cursive letter forms. The advantage is that children do not confuse the shapes of a single letter and are very quickly able to read independently, which motivates them for further work.
