The workbook focuses on practicing graphomotor skills and the first writing of uppercase letters. Thematically, it is connected to the chapters of the first part of the textbook. The larger landscape format offers students enough space for drawing and writing. All tasks are imaginative, interesting, and colorful. A comprehensive series of textbooks, workbooks with relaxation exercises, and writing books for teaching reading using the genetic method in the 1st grade is designed to provide teachers with complete teaching materials. The genetic reading method starts with uppercase letters, gradually transitioning into lowercase letters, and eventually moves on to teaching cursive letter forms. The advantage is that children do not confuse the shapes of a single letter and are very quickly able to read independently, which motivates them to continue working. The entire series is conceptually assembled and processed by teachers and practitioners who teach using the genetic method themselves. Emphasis is placed not only on the area of initial reading instruction but also on text comprehension, the ability to navigate a story, and last but not least, on the development of writing and speaking skills.
