In accordance with the RVP ZV, a comprehensive series of workbooks, textbooks, and math workbooks for the first stage of elementary schools is designed according to the generally popular concept of teaching mathematics composed of rules, sample problems with solutions, and exercises to practice new material. The workbooks and textbooks Hravá matematika are created with a modern and innovative approach. The exercises are characterized by creativity, content and typological diversity, and motivate students to work. A broad collective of teachers with rich theoretical knowledge and practical experience in teaching mathematics contributed to the creation of the workbooks and textbooks. The modern and full-color design supports students' motivation and creativity. The diverse types of tasks allow students to practice the material being covered in a playful and entertaining way. The textbook is suitably complemented by a workbook and a counting book. It clearly captures basic geometric knowledge and develops the skill of drawing, elementary spatial imagination, and knowledge of calculating perimeters and areas. It expands the curriculum to include the calculation of the surfaces of cubes and cuboids. It includes work with tables, diagrams, timetables, and thermometers.
