Description
The new publication Reading Comprehension for Primary Schools and Multi-Year Gymnasiums (Russian) features graphically attractive workbooks that can be used as a supplement to the basic textbook. They contain various types of artistic and non-artistic texts that are thematically close to the given age category and are set in Russian realities. The texts are divided into thematic units corresponding to the vocabulary covered in the respective grades. The chapters include tasks of various types: closed and open questions for text comprehension, exercises focused on vocabulary (mind maps, connect-the-dots, crosswords, puzzles), project suggestions, and prompts for discussion and writing on topics related to the text.
