The workbook for elementary schools and multi-year gymnasiums focuses on mastering letters that are new to Czech students. It has a modern and attractive graphic design. The practice of reading and writing is linked with mastering pronunciation, vocabulary, and Russian realities. The workbook is divided into six sections, ordered from familiar and frequently used letters to more challenging ones. Each chapter also offers various exercises aimed at both active and passive knowledge of the written and printed forms of all letters covered so far. It contains summary revisions. Each half-page dedicated to practice is always accompanied by an illustration and a short poem in Russian. The publication includes an answer key to the individual tasks and cut-out letters.
