The workbook offers an extensive collection of literary excerpts that complement the explanations in the textbook. Their purpose is to present a more comprehensive view of the works of individual literary figures. The excerpts include questions and tasks that facilitate their analysis. The workbook contains a variety of exercise tips, helping students to review the material in an enjoyable way. The new edition of textbooks and workbooks responds to the demand from educators for the creation of teaching materials that meet their requirements and practices. At the same time, it addresses the need for students to find a suitable publication that would make studying literature easier and more appealing. In accordance with the RVP, the New Literature edition is also suitable for preparation for the graduation exam. Its creation involved a collective of experienced authors and educators in professional collaboration with Doc. Mgr. Radek Malý, Ph.D. It respects various types of schools, utilizes literary theory for text analysis and interpretation, contains a glossary of literary terms and an overview of genres, and is connected with film, music, architecture, and painting.
