The workbook offers an expanded selection of excerpts from literary works that complement the explanations in the textbook. Their purpose is to present the works of individual literary figures in a more comprehensive manner. The excerpts of literary texts also include questions and tasks that facilitate their analysis. The workbook contains a variety of exercise types, helping students to review the material covered in an enjoyable way. The new edition of textbooks and workbooks responds to the demand from educators for the creation of teaching materials that meet their requirements and practices. At the same time, it addresses the need for students to find suitable publications that would facilitate and enhance their study of literature. In accordance with the RVP, the New Literature series is also suitable for preparation for the Maturita exam. Its creation involved a collective of experienced authors and educators in professional collaboration with Doc. Mgr. Radek Malý, Ph.D. It respects various types of schools, utilizes literary theory for text analysis and interpretation, includes a glossary of literary terms and an overview of genres, and connects with film, music, architecture, and painting.
