The Reader from the NEW LITERATURE edition aims to deepen the covered material and thus allow students to become more familiar with the literary works of individual authors. In addition to a vast amount of texts, in which we have tried to capture the style of each author as best as possible, the reader also contains supplementary questions. These are intended to motivate students to engage in their own critical thinking, independently formulate conclusions, and place knowledge in broader contexts, among other things, by developing interdisciplinary relationships. The new reader was compiled with regard to the catalog of requirements for the state graduation exam. In accordance with the RVP ZV, the new reader is also suitable for preparation for the graduation exam. Its creation involved a collective of experienced authors and educators in professional collaboration with Doc. Mgr. Radek Malý, Ph.D. It respects the diversity of school types. It utilizes literary theory for text analysis and interpretation. A working textbook focused on understanding and working with text. A wealth of reading material throughout the entire school year.
