Description
This modern, clearly organised mathematics textbook is intended both for collaborative classroom teaching and for individual study at home. Through engaging tasks based on real-life situations, pupils practise applying mathematics in different areas of everyday life. The explanations are easy to follow and accompanied by varied types of real-world exercises, each marked with its level of difficulty. Review thematic tests at the end of each unit provide feedback on how well the material has been mastered. The textbook also includes projects that make it easier to incorporate cross-curricular topics into lessons and practise key competences. It was prepared by experienced practising teachers in cooperation with leading Czech didactics specialists from faculties of education, in accordance with the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education.
