Description
The Sun on the Snow is a continuation of the poetry collection Assembled Words (2009) and is intended for those who usually do not read poetry. Poems are one way to relax when we turn off our brains and computers. Ivana Prokopová (*1960) is a professional arranger and currently runs a business in facility management. In her free time, she tends to her garden, paints, and recently has taken up digital photography, where she utilizes new possibilities to express her imagination. She writes poetry not only out of love for writing in general but primarily out of love for children, family, and the people around her. Nature itself is her greatest inspiration, which she considers a part of her life. She says of her poems: A poem is good when you feel like reading it again, perhaps even multiple times, not because you don’t understand it, but because its words are pleasant to your mind and heart. It evokes emotions and can make you think about things that are not quite a common part of everyday life, but which you have hidden inside yourself and are waiting for someone else to express them, perhaps in a poem.
