Description
An extraordinary event truly occurred in a castle full of writers: one night, the author of social novels, Marie Majerová, spent the night there and was awakened from her sleep by crackling and hissing fireballs bouncing along the edge of a historical bed. The incident had to be investigated – and properly covered up, as its nature did not align with the prevailing ideas of Marxism-Leninism. Even though extensive research into telepathy and various psychotronic methods was underway at the same time, it was impossible for a socialist writer, whose youthful indiscretions had long been forgotten, to be associated with such a fantastic event. Miloslav Švandrlík tackled the subject with a creativity that will not allow readers to put the book down unfinished.
