While fleeing from the ever-present guards, he joins a resistance group led by a woman named Sariah Davi. Thus begins a frantic, hundreds-of-miles-long adventurous journey across the city, its past, and its future. A journey that inevitably leads to Babylon and the dangers threatening this one civilization... Or is it not the only one?
